How to Make Yogurt  (Plain & Greek)

With milk and some live cultures, you're on your way to rich, creamy yogurt.

Slowly bring your milk to 180 degrees F, hold it there for 10 minutes, and then let it cool uncovered to 110 degrees F.

Heat & Cool Milk

Add Starter

Add 1 TBSP of your chosen culture and gently whisk it into you milk.

Wrap your pot entirely in a towel and place it in the oven with the light turned on. Allow it to incubate for 4-12 hours.



The longer you strain it, the thicker it gets. Place a cheesecloth over a strainer inside of a bowl (to catch the whey).
