How to Make Whole Grain Mustard

Homemade condiments just taste better! Whole grain mustard is one of the simplest ones to make from scratch.

Soak Seeds

Measure your mustard seeds, apple cider vinegar, water, and salt in a bowl. Mix them to combine, cover, and let sit for 8-24 hours.

Process Mustard

Add all your ingredients to the food processor and pulse until the mustard seeds begin to break and the mixture thickens.

Process in Water Bath

Carefully spoon mixture into hot sterilized jars, leave a 1/2 inch headspace, and process for 10 minutes (adjusting for altitude).
